The Carnarvon Aboriginal Medical Service provides a Doctor and Health Worker who conduct a Medical Clinic every second Friday.

Buildings

Shire Buildings  consist of the Shire Office at 4 Scott Street,  the Community Resource Centre with the Museum placed in the middle of these two.  The Museum is not yet open for visitors.  A Remote Area School for Primary School children is located at Smith Street

Snacks, Biscuits, Cakes, Cool drinks and Hot drinks are available from Vending Machines at the Community Resource Centre.

Fuel

Fuel is available from the Community Resource Centre at Gascoyne Junction Monday to Friday. Fuel is also available at Mount Augustus Tourist Resort (288Km's from Gasocyne Junction)

Water

Please try to ensure that you bring adequate water with you on your trip, as it is a very scarce commodity in the Gascoyne.

Mt Augustus

In the heart of the Mt Augustus National Park, tourists can be accommodated in on-site accommodation, or bring their own caravans.  There is a small shop to purchase necessities, and barbecue packs are available.  There is a communal barbecue and eating area, where you can share stories of your travels, adventures, mishaps and discoveries.
