Stargazing in the Junction

Join us as we capture the imagination of children and adults alike as we look to the starts with the Perth Observatory to gain a better understanding of the world we live in and how it changes around us at our free family event for local Shire Residents and visitors to our region.
Begin the evening with a free community camp oven dinner, and learn from an Astro Photographer how to best capture images of the night sky.
Then spend two hours of star gazing using four telescopes provided by the Perth Observatory set on the Town Oval to show the Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, nebulas and star clusters on the night.
