Camping under our night skies is the perfect way to experience the Upper Gascoyne.  In addition to the campsites available at both the Gascoyne Junction Pub and Tourist Park and the Mount Augustus Tourist Park there are two other options on the eastern and western side of Kennedy Range National Park for a true off the beaten track experience. 

Kennedy Range National Park Temple Gorge Campground Ullawarra Road, Gascoyne Junction 60kms north of Gascoyne Junction

Camping is only permitted at Temple Gorge in the Kennedy Range National Park where you will find a camping area that has a single bush toilet.  During the winter months the DBCA Camp Hosts are camped in the Kennedy Range to help with any questions and point you in the right direction. Water is not available in the park so be sure to bring sufficient supplies.

There is currently no booking system for Temple Gorge Campground, however there is plenty of space and overflow areas managed by the Camp Hosts.

Camping Fees are applicable and payable in cash to the Camp Hosts or placed in the Honesty Box in the envelopes provided.

Current Fees are:

$11 per person per night

$7 per night per adult for concession/pension card holders

$3 per night per child

Nestled on the banks of the Gascoyne River and located on a working cattle station, the historic Winnemia campground is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the starlit serenity of the region and explore the Kennedy Range National Park.

Various nature-based camping sites are available for your swag, tent, camper trailer or caravan. Access to rustic toilets and showering facilities is available for campsite visitors, however, bringing your own facilities is recommended. Bookings essential.
