Customer Service Officer
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic team player and experienced candidate to join the Shire of Upper Gascoyne Community Resource Centre (CRC) in a Customer Service Officer role.
This position will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service to both external and internal customers and includes responding to routine counter and telephone enquiries, general administration & finance duties as well as performing various duties as required. The CRC also runs a branch of the State Library and is an agent for the Department of Transport and Australia Post and any training required will be provided.
This position is full time 76 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday with a Rostered Day Off (RDO) each month and reports to the Manager of Finance and Corporate Services.

The successful candidate will be required to work effectively and cohesively within a team environment, possess good time management and organisational skills, be focused and process driven and demonstrate a commitment to the Shire’s core values.
The successful candidate will be offered a full time contract at Gascoyne Junction, dependent on a pre-employment medical and a clear drug and alcohol screening. Short listed applicants will be contacted within two weeks of the closing date.
Total Salary Package:
- Cash Component – annual salary up to $60,000 depending on qualifications and experience
- Cash Component – 11% Super Guarantee

- Unit Accommodation to the approx.value of $7,800 p/a
- Utilities (electricity, water and gas) to the approx. value of $2,500 p/a
- Uniform Allowance $500 p/a as per Council Policy
- Relocation expenses as per Council Policy
