Applications Open for Installation of Memorial Plaques at Two Rivers Memorial Park

At the July 2026 Shire of Upper Gascoyne Council Meeting, a policy (11.34 Two Rivers Memorial Park - Memorial Park Policy) was endorsed to introduce memorial plaques within the Two Rivers Memorial Park in Gascoyne Junction. With no active cemetery in Gascoyne Junction, finding a suitable place for residents and those with close ties to the Upper Gascoyne community to be remembered has been on the council's agenda for some time.

Applications are now open for a memorial plaque to be submitted for approval, Once an application has been approved the applicant will then make payment of the Memorial Plaque Fee. This fee covers the cost of a concrete plinth, plaque with engraving and installation under a tree at the Two Rivers Memorial Park.
