Ticketed Events

There are three main ticketed events - the Welcome Party, the winners presentations and the Awards Dinner.
The Welcome Party will be held at the Two Rivers Memorial Park from 5pm to 7.30pm on Friday May 3.
On Saturday May 4, each of the five state winning towns will present details on their winning projects at a Winner's Showcase at the Gascoyne Junction Pavilion.  This event will run from 9am to 1pm. 
The Awards Dinner will be held in the restaurant of the Gascoyne Junction Pub & Tourist Park on Saturday evening from 5pm to 9.30pm.  The national winners of the 2024 Keep Australia Tidy Town sub categories and overall winner will be announced and presented their awards.

Free Community Activities

We also have three free community events across the weekend to join in the festivities.  

Friday May 3: 7.30pm to 9.00pm

FREE MUSIC CONCERT with the Australian Army Corps Band at the Two Rivers Memorial Park.

This is a BYO event.  Bring along a blanket and enjoy a performance for the incredible musicians of the Australian Army Corps Band. 

Saturday May 4: 9.30pm to Midnight

AFTERPARTY Music Concert with the Australian Army Corps Band at the Gascoyne Junction Pub & Tourist Park

The restaurant will be closed for the Award Dinner but access to the pub will be through the side gate and guests served through the outside window.  The Army Band will get the afterparty started - mingle and celebrate with the winners. 

Monday May 6: 6.30am to 8.00am

ABC PILBARA OUTSIDE BROADCAST BREAKFAST SHOW & COMMUNITY BREAKFAST

ABC Pilbara will be holding an outside broadcast of the breakfast show with Kelly Gudgeon live from Gascoyne Junction. Come on down and see how a radio show is put together, see first hand interviews with winners from the National Awards and also some famous locals. Join us for a free community breakfast.
Note that accommodation is extremely limited over this weekend with a handful of concrete sites at the Tourist Park left.
